at800 (Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited) was set up under the direction of the UK government in 2013 to ensure viewers who rely on digital freeview TV services can continue to receive it – or are offered a suitable alternative – as and when 4G mobile services at 800 MHz are activated in their area. at800 is funded by the UK’s mobile operators launching 4G mobile services: EE, Vodafone, Telefónica UK (O2) and Three.
In her time at private practice Purvi led and managed the entire commercial set up for at800 operations. She worked closely with the internal at800 team and with third party stakeholders, suppliers and third parties to support the organisation from its inception to business as usual. Her work included putting in place all of the supplier and procurement relationships, supporting the external branding and marketing and managing and being the key point person for the overall relationship.
Ben Roome, CEO of at800, commented: “Purvi [was] contracted by my company as our head legal counsel. However, she provided far more than a legal service, offering a great deal of strategic advice and direction across everything we do. Purvi is also warm and engaging and entirely able to work effectively with a broad range of people”.
